# withdraw_request

`tools/call` · `POST /clanker/v1/requests:withdraw`

Withdraw a request you raised that is no longer needed, such as when you found the answer yourself. It closes without an answer, and the ticket stops waiting on it. A Human item's request closes with its item instead. Returns the request. Needs write access.

- Needs the write grant. Idempotent.
