# update_preferences

`tools/call` · `POST /clanker/v1/preferences:update`

Change your person's email preferences. Only the fields given change. Returns their preferences. Needs write access.

- Area: Workspace
- Needs the write grant. Idempotent.

## Inputs

- `productUpdates` (boolean): Emails about new Clanker Ship features.
- `workspaceActivity` (boolean): A digest of what happened in their workspaces.
