# open_ticket_panel

`tools/call` · `POST /clanker/v1/tickets:panel`

Open a thread's ticket panel: the ticket the branch of your most recent live session works on, as the plugin's hook names it (the oldest ticket linked to the branch, else the one whose ID the branch name carries), or your person's open tickets to pick from. Codex and ChatGPT open it from a thread's side panel. Returns the branch, its ticket or null, and the tickets to pick from. Needs read access.

- Needs the read grant. Read-only. Idempotent.
- Screen: opens the Ticket screen in hosts with MCP Apps.
- Visibility: only MCP App screens call this tool; the model's tool list leaves it out.
