# ask_human

`tools/call` · `POST /clanker/v1/tickets:ask-human`

Ask a question on a ticket when you need a decision you cannot make yourself, such as a choice between two designs or a missing requirement. The ticket shows Needs human with your question until someone answers, and its owner is notified. Asking again on the same ticket replaces your open question. The answer arrives in your inbox as a message with ask answer, and on the ticket as a comment. Up to 1,000 characters, with up to 4 suggested answers. Returns the ticket. Needs write access.

## Inputs

- `ticket` (string, required): A ticket ID, such as WEB-31.
- `question` (string, required): The question, with what each choice would mean, such as its cost or risk.
- `choices` (array of strings): Up to 4 answers to suggest, each up to 100 characters. Any answer will do.
