# clanker vault secret restore

Restore an earlier version as the newest one

## Usage

```bash
clanker vault secret restore [options] <version>
```

## Arguments

- `<version>`: The version to restore, from clanker vault secret history

## Options

- `--workspace <slug>`: Workspace slug or id (default: the linked workspace)
- `--product <slug>` (required): The product, such as storefront
- `--name <name>` (required): The secret's name, such as DATABASE_URL
- `--env <slug>` (required): The environment, such as staging
- `--request-id <id>`: Reuse this ID when retrying a write

## Examples

```bash
clanker vault secret restore 3 --product storefront --name DATABASE_URL --env staging
```
