# clanker ticket doc write

Write a document whole, from --file or stdin, as its next revision. Without --base-revision it writes on the latest.

## Usage

```bash
clanker ticket doc write [options] <id> <document>
```

## Arguments

- `<id>`: The ticket's ID, such as WEB-31
- `<document>`: A document's name or slug, such as scope, plan or build-record

## Options

- `--file <path>`: The Markdown to write
- `--base-revision <n>`: The revision you read; the write fails if it moved on
- `--workspace <slug>`: Workspace slug or id (default: the linked workspace)

## Examples

```bash
clanker ticket doc write WEB-31 plan --file plan.md --base-revision 2
```
