# clanker product update

Change a product's slug, name, type or description

## Usage

```bash
clanker product update [options] <product>
```

## Arguments

- `<product>`: The product's slug, such as storefront

## Options

- `--slug <slug>`: New slug
- `--name <name>`: New display name
- `--type <type>`: New type One of `website`, `api`, `cli`, `mobile_app`, `desktop_app`, `agent`.
- `--description <text>`: New description; "" clears it
- `--repository <owner/name>`: Source repository; "" clears it
- `--workspace <slug>`: Workspace slug or id (default: the linked workspace)

## Examples

```bash
clanker product update storefront --description "The public store"
```
