# clanker environment update

Change an environment's slug, name, description or emoji. The class cannot change.

## Usage

```bash
clanker environment update [options] <environment>
```

## Arguments

- `<environment>`: The environment's slug, such as staging

## Options

- `--slug <slug>`: New slug
- `--name <name>`: New display name
- `--description <text>`: New description; "" clears it
- `--emoji <emoji>`: New emoji; "" clears it
- `--workspace <slug>`: Workspace slug or id (default: the linked workspace)

## Examples

```bash
clanker environment update staging --emoji "🧪"
```
